From Selling “Products” to Delivering “Value”
Japan has long been recognized for its ability to produce high-quality products at reasonable prices. However, in today’s ever-evolving landscape, the key no longer lies solely in “what we manufacture?”, but rather in understanding “what truly brings value to our customers?”—and from there, determining what we should create.
In other words, while delivering quality products remains at the heart of what we do, we strive to go beyond that. Our mission is to shift toward a customer-centric mindset, placing the experience and satisfaction of our customers at the core.
CORPORATE IDENTITY
BUSINESS

HONGO's mission is "pursuing health and beauty"
At HONGO, we develop our products with “Health & Beauty” as our highest priority—for people of all ages, across the world. That’s the reason why we chose to focus on the concept of “zero.” Can our idea of health and beauty truly apply to “zero” for everyone? With increasingly Westernized diets, rising cholesterol levels, high blood pressure, and a growing number of lifestyle-related illnesses, it’s hard to say we are at “zero” when it comes to health. To Hongo, “zero” represents a state where one can live a normal, healthy life—free from daily worries or medical concerns.

As long as people continue to pursue beauty and health, we will continue moving forward—driven by ongoing research and development under the "HONGO brand".
HONGO offers a wide range of products in the fields of nutritional supplements and cosmetics. Our work is rooted in a deep understanding of the physical characteristics and health needs of the Japanese people. With this knowledge, we strive to create groundbreaking products—including functional foods, dietary supplements, skincare, and hair care items.
We collaborate closely with various research institutes to develop original products that anticipate and exceed market expectations. In addition, we work alongside highly knowledgeable professionals—such as licensed doctors and registered dietitians—who bring their expertise and insights to every stage of product development. Every member of our team approaches product creation from the customer’s perspective. By focusing on “Value added,” we are committed to delivering truly exceptional products that improve daily life.

SAFE, SECURE, AND HIGH-QUALITY DOMESTIC PRODUCTION

Harnessing the body’s innate self-healing power
After graduating from university, I worked at the faculty of medicine in a university hospital, engaging in clinical practice, research, and teaching. However, during my time there, I gradually began to notice contradictions in the methodologies of modern medicine and ultimately decided to resign.
Since then, I have devoted myself to the practice of holistic medicine. The term “holistic” means “whole” or “comprehensive,” and holistic medicine is an approach to health that considers the body as an interconnected system rather than isolated parts.
Rather than relying solely on medication to treat the body whenever it weakens or encounters illness, I believe in evaluating a wide range of factors to support and activate the patient’s own natural healing ability—helping to maintain health in a sustainable and long-term way.
